Not true and again you show your ignorance. NO Hospital can deny anyone medical care. They have to accept you if you are sick. If you're homeless and are wearing a potato sack, they have to treat you. Walk in St. Mary's Hospital (now Mountainview) in Norton and you can read the sign on the wall.

If Im not mistaken there are hospitals that have took homeless people and put them in a cab and sent them to a shelter and let them out in Tenn. I have heard many stories of that in Memphis the many times I was dont there...and also I was referring to the treatment they give you..whether you just need it at that time or need it over a period of time at St Jude....pretty much every other hospital in the US, if you dont have insurance or it doesnt cover it..youre screwed, even though the treatments could and would save your life, sorry they say

18,000 ppl die in the US every year for no reason and can easily be treated and their lives saved are turned away because insurance refuses to pay....thats not even counting the almost 50 americans who dont have insurance at all who pray everyday that something bad doesnt happen because theyd be out of luck

Hospitals can't, won't, and don't refuse treatment to someone needing medical attention. They have to treat you, make sure you're well enough to leave, and are in no danger of dying because they release you, unless of course you chose to leave on your own accord.

Exactly Lung. Besides, your argument is flawed about raider. You mention 18,000 die because of a lack of insurance. The rates are much higher in Canada and other Universal Healthcare Systems due to not treating diseases promptly. You are lucky to get cancer treatment in Canada 6 months to a year after you are diagnosed.

I didnt say those were 18,00 uninsured ppl..they are all insured but the necessary treatment to save there lives was denied because the insurance companies simply didnt want to pay
